About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Parasha Kids mobile application ("App"). Parasha Kids is operated by GN-Projects Solutions Oy (business ID: 3636596-8) ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Who May Use This App

Parasha Kids is designed for use by parents, guardians, and families with young children. If you are creating an account or making a purchase, you must be at least 18 years old ("parent account holder"). Children and other family members may use the App only under the supervision and with the permission of a parent or guardian.

What the App Provides

Parasha Kids provides child-friendly stories and related content inspired by Jewish and Parasha themes. The content may be simplified, adapted, translated, or retold for children. Parasha Kids is not a religious authority and does not replace parental guidance, formal education, rabbinic guidance, or community-specific practice. We aim to provide high-quality, engaging content. However, we do not guarantee that all content is free from errors, that it will be continuously available, or that it will suit every family's specific religious or educational requirements.

Account Registration

To access certain features you will need to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by family members you have linked. Please contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use. We support sign-in via Google (all devices) and, on iPhone and iPad, Sign in with Apple. Your use of these sign-in methods is also governed by Google's or Apple's own terms and privacy policy. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email" feature, we receive the private relay address Apple provides rather than your real email address.

Family Account

A single subscription may be used by 1 parent account and 2 child devices within the same family or household. This includes the main account holder (parent/guardian) plus up to 2 child devices linked to the account. Family sharing is intended for members of the same household. Sharing access with people outside your family or household is not permitted and may result in your account being suspended or terminated. The parent account holder is responsible for all activity that takes place under the family account, including the actions of linked child users and devices.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Some content is available through a subscription or one-time purchase, processed via Google Play on Android devices and the Apple App Store on iPhone and iPad, using RevenueCat as our subscription management provider. By subscribing you agree to the Subscription & Purchase Terms (see the "subscriptions" document). We do not receive or store your payment card details. A subscription covers the parent account and up to 2 linked child devices. If a subscription is cancelled or expires, all family users linked to that account will lose access to premium content at the end of the billing period.

Intellectual Property

All App content, including stories, illustrations, audio, and the App itself, is owned by or licensed to GN-Projects Solutions Oy. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the App on your personal devices for personal, non-commercial, family use.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App. Please see the Acceptable Use Policy for details. In summary: do not attempt to reverse-engineer the App, circumvent access controls, share access outside your household, or use the App for any unlawful purpose.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. We are not responsible for any data loss caused by technical issues. Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights, warranties or guarantees that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of the country where you live.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GN-Projects Solutions Oy's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by displaying a notice in the App or by email. Continued use of the App after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Finnish courts. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, including any mandatory right to bring proceedings in the courts there. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
