Children's Privacy Notice
Our Approach to Children's Privacy
Parasha Kids is a family app. Children are expected to use the App together with, or with the permission of, a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. All account registration must be completed by a parent or guardian who is at least 18 years old.
What Data is Associated with Child Use
Children use the App through a parent's or guardian's account. With the family account feature, child devices may be linked to the parent account using an anonymous device identifier — we do not collect a child's name, age, or contact details as part of this process. We store: - Reading history and favourite stories (linked to the adult account, not to an identified child) - In-app progress (which story was last read) - An anonymous device identifier used to recognise a linked family device - An optional device label chosen by the parent (please do not use a child's name) A device label is deleted within 30 days after the device leaves the family. On a linked child device that is not signed in, reading progress and favourites are kept on the device itself. Like any device using the App, a child's device also sends technical data needed to run the App safely: crash and error reports (Sentry, stored in the EU) and required reliability events without any account identifier. Optional usage analytics are off by default and are only sent if they are turned on in the App settings. We do not collect a child's name, date of birth, photograph, or any data that directly identifies an individual child.
Family Account and Linked Devices
The parent or guardian manages the family account. They may link up to 2 child devices. Linked devices gain access to the subscription content associated with the parent account. The parent is responsible for deciding which devices are linked and for removing devices that should no longer have access. Linked devices can be managed from the Account section of the App.
No Advertising or Behavioural Tracking
Parasha Kids contains no advertising. We do not use behavioural advertising, cross-app tracking, or sell any data to advertisers.
Parental Controls and Responsibility
Parents remain responsible for supervising their children's use of the App, including which devices are linked under the family account. Parasha Kids does not provide parental-control features such as screen-time limits or content filtering within the App. We recommend parents review the content available in the App to ensure it is appropriate for their child.
